The Identity fashion delivery service is available to Identity account holders only. Identity will deliver the merchandise purchased at one branch to another branch for a fee of R40, to your home or work or as gift to someone’s address for a fee of R44. These fees are subject to change from time to time and include VAT. One delivery fee is charged per delivery.

Delivery fees are charged to your account on the date of delivery and are not refundable if merchandise is returned after delivery. Merchandise returns are subject to the Identity Merchandise Returns Policy. Identity delivers anywhere within South Africa on business days to the nominated address stipulated by the customer at the time of placing the delivery order. The term "business days" excludes Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Delivery orders placed before 1pm on weekdays are likely to be processed the same day. Delivery orders placed after 1pm on weekdays are likely to be processed the following business day.

Any delivery orders placed after 1pm on a Friday are likely to be processed the following business day. All deliveries are likely to be made within 3 business days after processing. Please note that in certain areas, delivery may take longer than 3 days. The delivery service is unfortunately not offered in respect of homeware or cellular phones. Merchandise is subject to availability. In the event that you are not at the nominated address when the merchandise is delivered, you hereby authorise us to deliver it to any natural person over the age of 16 years present at the address. This person will be conclusively presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.

Should no-one be at the nominated address stipulated by you at the time of delivery, the merchandise will be returned to Identity and a notice will be left at the nominated address to this effect. You will be required to contact our call centre to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. Identity reserves the right to charge a further delivery fee should it be required to make a further delivery if no-one is at the nominated address to receive the merchandise.

Should you accept merchandise in excess of the ordered quantity or you accept the incorrect merchandise, you shall be obligated to contact the Identity call centre advising them of the details of the incorrect merchandise that was delivered to you within 10 days of date of delivery of the merchandise being delivered to you, failing which Identity shall be entitled to charge the excess merchandise or the incorrectly ordered merchandise as the case may be to your account. Identity shall be entitled to collect the excess merchandise or the incorrectly delivered merchandise from you within 10 days from date of delivery.

For verification purposes, our delivery team will be entitled to require the person accepting delivery at the nominated address to produce a form of identification. Should you require us to make delivery to any address other than the nominated address,for instance that of a neighbour, Identity cannot be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or for any discrepancy in the order. Delivery fees are not refundable in the event that your nominated address cannot be located on a road map or cannot be located despite a reasonably diligent search. You must only take delivery from a courier representative who has the appropriate identification. You must examine the goods before you take delivery and must confirm delivery by signing the courier’s delivery note.

All risk in the merchandise shall pass to you on delivery. In the event that you elect to make use of the delivery service, you do so at your own risk. Identity disclaims liability and will not be held liable for all/any loss and/or damages that may be sustained arising out of/pursuant to your use of the delivery service.
